Horror Anthology is open for Submissions

We are currently accepting submissions for an upcoming horror anthology!

To be considered, submissions must be:

• Between 4,000 and 6,000 words in length.

• Close to print ready; while some developmental editing may be expected, we are looking for clean, proof-read pieces that reflect previous rounds of editing on the author's part (that is, make sure you aren't sending tracked changes or editorial comments!)

• Distinctly Northern - though there's plenty of wiggle room for interpretation in that!

• Be written by authors currently residing in Denendeh (NWT), Yukon, or Nunavut, with exceptions granted only by direct invitation from the lead editor, Richard Van Camp

• Submitted by November 30, 2026

There is no set theme beyond "horror genre and northern", so don't hold back. Unleash your inner demons and splatter that dark stuff all over the page (then clean it up and share your scary piece with all the periods, commas, and spelling checked.) Work will be reviewed and selected by a committee.

To submit your polished manuscript, simply click the link below to access our submission portal. Please complete the required fields and upload your manuscript through the form. If you need help with the submission process, please don’t hesitate to contact us by email or phone.

We won’t be able to move forward with all the great writing that comes our way, but as we grow our company, we hope to be able to support and share more Northern voices from across the territory.

Please note, we do not accept work generated, in full or in part, by AI.
